MEMORANDOM OF SOCIETY

 

1.    NAME OF THE SOCIETY :The name of the society shall be:“LIGHTNING PROTECTION  ASSOCIATION OF INDIA ” in Affiliation with INTERNATIONAL LIGHTNING PROTECTION ASSOCIATION, France

 

2.    REGD. OFFICE OF THE SOCIETY: The registered office of the society shall remain in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, and at present it is at the following address:

PRAGATI ENGINEERS,  271,  BHATNAGAR HOUSE,  2ND  FLOOR,  NORTH   DELHI,  POST OFFICE/  ZONE -  DR.  MUKHERJEE NAGAR, G.T.B. NAGAR,  DHAKA  MAIN ROAD , (NEXT TO METHODIST CHURCH ),  NEAREST METRO STATION  G.T.B.NAGAR, DELHI-110009.

 

 

3.    AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

 

 

The aims and the objectives of the society, for which the same is established, shall be as under:-

a)         Due to change in Climate conditions , Lightning was always a natural disaster and has created lot of damage to property, humans and animals worldwide. LPAI -a voluntary association of engineering companies/ individuals interested in propogating awareness along with academic contributors & eminent citizens will Create awareness about need for effective Lightning Protection with internationally accepted technologies & a proactive mind-set towards lightning protection safety at all times

 

b)         Minimize losses to life and property by providing adequate and technically correct solutions by  means of  effective and scientific solutions of comphrensive lightning protection

 

c)         Help in the creation of Standards for ESE Lightning Protection in India and encourage its implementation in line with global standards

 

d)         Assist different laboratories in India to analyze the results of High Voltage laboratory tests on different kinds of Lightning Protection Systems, according to standard procedure  adopted Globally or other

 

e)         Follow up of “in situ” real lightning condition tests (on buildings or sites): Lightning counters data, lightning strikes pictures and corresponding electrical measures

 

f)          Asist users and government departments to collect Independent final user’s  opinion/witnesses, with an evidence of lightning protection field efficiency.

 

g)         Set up statistics on installed Lightning Protection Systems and the experience reached since their installation.

 

h)         Support scientific papers on modern lightning protection systems

 

i)          Address the concerns and common issues to enable the Indian ESE Lightning Protection industry to reach global pre-eminence with better regulatory framework

 

j)          Develop ESE Lightning Protection safety and security engineering education and awareness and aims to work closely with the Government and all other stakeholders to enable the Indian Lightning Protection and Earthing industry to serve the interests of this industry and achieve an overarching commitment to enhance the safety and security of the buildings / investments of India.

ESE Lightning Protection and Grounding systems with integrating aspects of Life Safety along with their service, is worthy of the highest levels of professionalism.

Members will strive at all times to deliver products and services in accordance with the highest levels of professionalism and fulfilling all regulatory certification in compliance with standards

Members will balance the right to inform the public of noteworthy issues with the rights of privacy of those we interact with.

At all times, members will maintain an altruistic or selfless concern for the welfare of others.

Members will not use any business practice, which violates any state, federal, or international law, rule or regulation.

In all interactions with ESE Lightning Protection Safety and related activity, or enrooted, members shall at all times exercise and follow noteworthy safety practices. Fire Safety and Security products and systems providers should always be considered an asset to the communities around them.

Ø  Partner with the Central and State Government bodies in formulation and implementation of lightning protection safety and security policies.

Ø  Encourage members to uphold world class quality standards.

Ø  Continuous engagement with all member companies and stakeholders to device strategies and achieve shared aspirations for the industry and the country in rural urban development planning and nation building. Partnership with members.
